Michele
I'm in search for my GED transcripts or Diploma. I took my test in May of 1990 at Central Texas College, Subic Bay Naval Base, Philippines. I have requested this information on the MyGed website however my order was cancelled, due to no record. I have called numerous times to the call center and been told that many records are lost or were never entered in the existing data base? Could this be true? I need my transcripts for an employment opportunity. I can not believe that these type of creditials could potentially be lost, especially since it was taken on a military base. Please help me. Is there someone or somewhere I can call or email that could potentially locate my records?? Or possibly provide me a letter stating the missing files?? Thank you... Any suggestions would help...

Hi Michele,

Thanks for writing! You can try locating your transcripts by contacting your state department of education or the facility you took the test at. However, if the facility is no longer open and you took it back in 1990, your test scores may have never been entered into the database and may be lost. If this is the case, you may need to retake the test.

I hope you're able to find your scores!
