Hey guys, got my transcript on Saturday I was pretty disappointed with myself on a few scores, especially the math section only scoring a 440. The rest was pretty decent 470/480 in reading/writing, 560 in science & 510 in social studies which averages to 492. The school I want to get into requires a 500, however, my girlfriend whom is about to graduate with dual masters in Anthropology, Community Health Science, and 2 minors in non-profit studies & sociology has told me I can probably get in with a year of probation since I am only 8 points off. Would remedial classes be wise as well, Since I am going for business management & website design?

Hi Ryan,

Great job! It's so nice to just pass the test and have it out of the way. I think your girlfriend is correct. You still should have a shot at being admitted to your college of choice. The best way to find out about that and whether or not you'll need remediation would be to contact your school's admissions department. Give them a call, and they should be able to tell you what exactly you can expect. Let us know what they say!

Yeah they should let me in seeing how long i was out of school & my disabilities too I will probably ask to be put in remedial classes too for a bit and see how those go.
