I received my GED scores today and on my writing I got 470, social studies 470, science 430, reading 540 and math 360. Then after my math score it says average score 454. I know my math is below 410 but all of my points average out to 2,260 do I still pass? And what does average score mean?

Thanks in advance
Hi T, in addition to needing an average of 450 or higher, you also cannot get any lower than 410 in any subject. So unfortunately, you did not pass and will need to retake math. Also you might want to consider scheduling a test date soon. The GED test is changing at the end of the year so you must pass math by January 1st. If you don't, you'll have to take the test again. Because of that, testing centers are starting to get booked up so I definitely recommend you reserve your spot if possible. I hope this helps.
